I 've been in the coop the last hour, scooping poo and getting the chicks ready for a day in- I it 50 out, cloudy and light on / off rain, I dont need wet chicks.
I hung the regular light bulb made room for the big girls if the need to come in from the rain, Bob rooster flapped me twice, "D" him, I just take it , and shake my kids rake at him, I dont want to create a fearful angary rooster.

So lights on, windows closed, that wind from the west blows in rain,


I think Grandma is tired, its been a long hard working spring, and time to get ready for winter.
but better the "Ant and not the Grasshopper" right.
