Morning ya’ll. second cup ready. Breakfast was butter and jam sandwich. Fed the animals, washed the couch cover. Now gonna rest awhile And read my book. Lost another hen to a predator-Missy (see avatar)- probably a raccoon or possum. Now the henhouse is locked down like Fort Knox. My escape artist, Lily, has found a way to hide in the coop- I have searched it after lockdown and cannot find her- went over the entire yard with a flashlight the first night- no Lily. in the morning- there she was in the coop. Second night, I really looked over the coop thoroughly- no Lily. Next day, there she is. Either she is a genius at hiding, or she can transport herself. Lol.
