Did the tomato and tomatilla here no power out here ? How are you this morning starting bread today
Thankfully power is back on. Have to go get some wormer today, my EE is acting a little off, I thought it was because she tried to go broody a couple weeks ago but this morning she let fly a watery poop and yes, roundworms. Yechhh! Sorry but I know you have birds and slugs so you may have that occasionally too!

Time to worm which also means no eggs can be eatin will worming wazzine from the feed store do all four
I got Fenbendazole. Small dose 5 days in a row for no egg withdrawal according to casportpony. Gotta haul the scale up to coop. :gig I’ll do the three non molting ones. I’ll hit Blondie when she’s got her feathers back.

Good morning one and all.

Water is hot, tea, and condiments are on the counter.

Stop in, have a seat, and enjoy a cup.

Weather is hot and sunny. We have been having some bad storms in the late evening.

Have a great day.

Good morning, all!

I have 8 mature hens and 1 rooster, 5 leftover monthlings (going to new home today), and 7 eggs hitting lockdown tonight. Spent this weekend delivering month-old pullets around and will be happy to have their pen cleaned out. Sadly, my car doesn't go back in the garage because the new batch will be using the brooder pen within a week.

One of the recipients of my birds was so thrilled that she baked me scones...and named her favorite pullet received Miss Scone. Too funny.

Warm during the day with an occasional pop-up T-storm. Mainly noise, though. Dogs not happy about it.

Our restaurants are open, but restricted social distance seating. Masks required when out in public.

Anyway, it's a pretty day and the yard beckons.... Thanks for the starter fluid!

Starter fluid! :gig Yes! I’ll take a big cup of that! It poured rain here yesterday and this morning it’s overcast so I can’t tell if the yard is beckoning or threatening! Good morning everyone!

My knees are stiff today, so I'm walking like a penguin. BUT better than DH's back, which he threw out making the bed. (No good deed goes unpunished.)

Brooder pen is empty. Weird to walk into the garage and not see any movement therein. Oh, well. Give it a week and there'll be replacements.

Harvested a bed of beets today which resulted in 3 trugs. Sorted, gleaned and cleaned. Three different sizes and lots of beet greens for saute and salad. Canning tomorrow. I'm beat!
