Been out today went out to replace plant I lost possibly to squirrels So ticked just ordered more harware cloth as I need to start being proactive bought two 4 pack started brussle sprouts one green one red have two open tires but will hardcloth around and top to protect them

We're suffering a plague of varmints. The onslaught is nonstop. Instead of trying to figure out ways to thwart them, I'm resorting to figuring out what they won't eat. Scanty and diverse crops this year. Expensive, too. Cost v. end result, there are a couple of really expensive peppers in the garden that we maybe will get to enjoy....

Rabbits ate most of my annuals this year. Boring flower garden with no pansies or marigolds but nubs.

I am having a rough year went out for slug bate today the Son needed meds
at safeway so took a bit longer
