Do you also heat it if you want a hot cup ?

I do! I make enough for a day or two (I'm lazy and the flavor profile doesn't change much in two days), and decide right before I drink it if I want it hot or cold.

I find the flavor of the coldbrew superior to when I brew it hot. Even when I heat the coldbrew, I like it better than if I had just made it hot in the first place. It tastes less bitter/burnt, and more rich.
I usually serve heated coldbrew when I have family in town for breakfast- they always seem pleased and have more than one cup, but they could just be being polite, haha.

DH made the coffee this morning. He tends to overstuff the filter with grounds. Well, the coffee on hand today (new bag) is a dark French-style roast. Today's pot is so thick that double-the-creamer it's still too strong. This could be medicinal grade brew.
(Note to self: Make coffee before heading outside for chores, otherwise someone may be "helpful" and start the pot)

My Mom used to do that(now I do) but we always had a pot of hot water to thin it out for me.
