I just added a pot of freshly brewed coffee and some blueberry scones.

I'll take a thermosful, please! Heading out to the secondary coop to clean it. The garage birds need to relocate there as the eggs in the hatcher are popping and will need the brooder pen. 2 blue-feathered olive eggers and 5 Marans thus far. Of course, it's going to be sweaty no matter what time of day I get the task done.

I did have a great day! It was low 70s, humid but a slight breeze. It was lovely. Got a lot done.

I can only wish for a temperature that low with a low humidity. We are in the 90s with the humidity ranging from 80 to high 90s. This is really unbearable.

Very hard to get anything done outside.

Added some coffee. A moderate day here. Temps in the high 60's now with a high near 79F expected - I'll take it even with the gentle rain.
