Morning everyone. I am new to this thread, but in the real world I'm old, love , tea and water.
Sitting on back porch, watching my birds, drinking 1st cup of 2nd pot coffee.
A chilly 27 this a.m.
Life is good

Yep, sounds like a right peaceful life. I love sitting out on the patio myself on nice days drinking hot tea or cold tea or coffee and watching nature - and chickens.
I just finished making all the baked goods to send to family and friends as Christmas presents. I was not planning on anyone coming this year - covid and all, plus a family death. With all the baking and being lazy and stuff, my house is a filthy mess. My niece just told me tonight that they may be all coming down for Christmas. Got nothing planned, house a mess- sure, ya'll come on down. I thought I could rest up these next couple of days and take it easy- nope- now will be speed cleaning the house, planning a menu. But you know I still love it.

Well, my take is.....family coming to see ME not my house. I clean MOST of the filth, dirt and crud, but I don't stress and if it doesn't get cleaned/done---oh well. Of family doesn’t like it-they can clean it.
