Afternooon all. Been in the yard all day- only had one cup of coffee this am. Am having the second now. Boy, am I pooped, but I got a pretty good lot done - but still a lot more to do. Since I got old, I find the energy only lasts for one area of work. I can either clean house, work in the yard or do something crafty. Can't seem to do two. Today was yard. It is supposed to rain tonight, so maybe tomorrow I will do house.

Hey made it back from Dr. with better half he gets to have a colonoscopy but hey get to a certain age you should right sopped at Carl Jr's truck stop for burgers I got ice tea they make pretty good one.

Good morning all. Coffee is brewing. Sadly, I had no time to bake yesterday. I planned to but, winter clean up took it out of me today. So, hopefully I can at least get something baked.
Off the coffee topic... Is it normal for your roo to crow at night, and then have a competition with another roo, for about 6 crows each? Mine will crow at 3 am, 4 am, then 5, 5:30, and periodically around 6 am until they are out. There are no disturbances. I get up to look. We live in a rural area and there are predators, so I worry of that. Just wondered if anybody else has this with their roo, or if I got an oddball. Thanks all. Have a great day.

My hubby said that our roo will sometimes crow when he leaves for work at 5 am. I have heard him when I go out to open up as it's getting light and the wild birds are singing.
