How long did you have to feed the cockerels before they were ready to butcher?
about 16 weeks or so. They started crowing then. They were not too large but did taste good!

Hatching eggs under four dollars per dozen is a deal too!

I still have one of the pullets from that hatch. She is four years old now and lays about 4 eggs a week now.

I am allowed two cups but think it has more to do with the hot liquid so lot's of afternoon cold coffee right .. Do not like sugar products but will try the cinnamon
I had now idea that so many would hatch!

I was saving the pullets for a co worker but the co worker quit and never picked them up!

Hatching can definitely cause chicken math to over whelm you!
