These are a mix of fertile eggs from whole foods and Trader Joe's. The cockerels at the top right with the red in the wins are from Whole foods.

How long did you have to feed the cockerels before they were ready to butcher?

We like Bustelo coffee, it is strong. I use half n half in mine most of the time.
Sometimes in the afternoon brew we add a little cinnamon. I have learned to put the cinnamon in the filter first (under the grounds). It blends better.

about 16 weeks or so. They started crowing then. They were not too large but did taste good!

Hatching eggs under four dollars per dozen is a deal too!

I still have one of the pullets from that hatch. She is four years old now and lays about 4 eggs a week now.

Wow Ron you hatched quite a few ...
I am allowed two cups but think it has more to do with the hot liquid so lot's of afternoon cold coffee right .. Do not like sugar products but will try the cinnamon

I had now idea that so many would hatch!

I lost the Oldest of the birds I hatched of my own eggs.
She was blue in color almost grey quite large but maybe 6?

Mine are getting up in age!

I had to downsize from 35 or so to 6 several years ago.

I sold off a few recently only real downsize is banty.
All of a sudden there was 6 when I had 4 all in..
Friend of mine had to make changes for herself received all her birds like 25 of them sol maybe 5 but got the banty back down to 4 no cockerel in there.

I was saving the pullets for a co worker but the co worker quit and never picked them up!

Hatching can definitely cause chicken math to over whelm you!
