We're good here, penny, but East and North of here things are still bad with rivers still cresting. A friend lives in a town that is completely flooded/cut off from reality. The news showed two homes there on fire that were inaccessible to fire trucks. I have tried calling, but the phone just goes dead. The flooding is worse than with Sandy.

Someone has contacted my friend, and he and his wife are okay. They are on a higher spot in town, and though surrounded by water there is only minimal water in their cellar.
