The ones you make are to be desired by him above the store bought ones. Take it as a compliment and keep feeding them to him. Keeping his tummy pleasantly full is a good distribution of energy.
I absolutely love it when my wife makes cinnamon rolls (she makes the best) They go great with morning coffee! Store bought cinnamon rolls are chancy at best. Chance is that 99.99% of the time they don't even come close to being as good as hers and .01% chance that they are decent, not as good, just decent.
