More info on Egyptian Walking Onions, just because I like them so much...

The entire plant is edible. I snip green onions all season long. The topsets are little, but would be a great size for pickled onions. They keep coming back, and the clump gets bigger each season. I can dig half the clump, and it'll fill back in. I hardly have to weed the onion bed, they've grown in so dense. I'll be able to dig onions as soon as I can dig in that bed, so I'll have onions in April.

:love I love my EWOs. A perennial crop that I don't need to replant or reseed.
