I broke my coffee press! We have an aluminum camping pot we can drag out but usually we’ll run the generator long enough to run the coffee maker and keep the fridge and freezer cold. And flush the toilets. Being on a well you can’t flush without power or spare buckets of water.

We have two aluminum coffee pots one nicer than the other but have like maybe 3 coffee presses .. one sigle other you can make maybe 3 other is 5.

We rarely have coffee in the house unless company is coming, or hubby is in the mood for some.

When that happened, I'd take the empty container to HR. I'd look really sad, slump over, and whimper, "Coffee...coffee..."

Almost everyone there drank it, so it was an emergency if we ran out. Someone would go get more. Or be called to buy some on their way in.

Unfortunately, they took away the corporate sponsored pot and coffee when COVID started. So now a small group of us pitch together and rotate buying grounds. The person who's turn it is keeps forgetting. And I did the last time, so I ain't doing it! I remembered to make coffee at home today.

Not ready for today.. usually I take my time to drink my coffee. Which I did but it still was gone quicker than I would have liked.
