I put a big pile of thatch and leaves on my heavy soil garden today. My arms feel like noodles! I bet my back will talk about this tomorrow too.
I have nothing to complain about, really. I got the job done, and if I did that kind of work more often, it would be easier, right? I do find that I move more slowly than I used to. But I still move, and that's the important thing. I tell myself that slow and steady will finish the task, if not win the race, and hurrying could be a way to throw something in my back seriously out of alignment.
