Did you ever catch the culprit?
Trying to figure out if I should plant mint in with the peas, pepper wax, or what.
Really disappointing to say the least!
At first i thought it might be a ground hog, but i never saw one on the property. Then i suspected deer since my fence isn't tall enough to keep them out. But hubby never could find any tracks. Perhaps it was rabbits squeezing under the fence. I put a lot of rocks at the base of the fence, and weeds have grown up around the rocks so it is much more difficult for them to get in. However , it seems they moved to my flower garden and now decimate those plants. I know the deer get in there as well. It never ends!

I got bunny rabbits in the yard, but I am not sure how they would get around the baby gate.
Only one pea had a few nibbles gone, and everything else was one 'chomp' through the stem about two inches off the ground, and only completely severing the stem about half of the time.
Little vandals!😡
