I just noticed that my cousin & brother-in-law are in your region (near Sequim); think I'll text them to be sure they're okay.
[Yup, my husband's brother married my kooky cousin after his first wife died & they ran off to Sequim a few years ago where they're fallen into some kind of doom-prepper folie a deux so we (& rest of family) rarely hear from them. They begged off a big family wedding/reunion last year because it was "harvest time on the farm". Oh, please - they have 2 raised beds, a hoop house and a few chickens in their back yard and hire the grunt work done. Not exactly "plowing the back 40". So now, whenever DH and I get an invitation w're not thrilled about, we roll our eyes and tell each other, "But it's harvest time on the farm..."]
Still, don't want them to wash away and no one know about it!
