Coffee Ground Chicken bedding

Sounds like something that would've started in Seattle, honestly. ;)
I can't even get free grounds at Starbucks. I always see the bins for free grounds for the taking, but people grab 'em as soon as they put some out.
Right! :gig
Just can't imagine what/where would generate enough spent grounds to dry, bag, and distribute them nationally?

It's time to start drying out my coffee grounds, instead of putting them in my compost pile. It might take a while to get enough to start, but I have 4 bags of PDZ to go through first.
Ha! I just started saving them for a gardener friend, not sure i'd want to do it for PDZ replacement tho.

I'm still not sure if it's just dried grounds. I googled it and didn't come up with much of anything
Me neither.
Maybe @djseraphim and @humblehillsfarm could look for fine print on bag to see if anything else is in there??

Shelton and Puyallup are the only towns close to me I can get it at if I wanted to (but I don't want to). The price though is a LOT less than on the manufacture's website which makes me believe it must be a smaller bag. It would be $7.49 for a 15"x22" bag (that's the cart price, but the price before adding it to the cart is $9.99, which is a little confusing).

I paid $10 a bag at Tractor Supply but for the life of me I don't know how big the bag was. Just remembering carrying it, it felt like 30ish pounds. I used 3 bags to fill a 4'x6' coop with 3-4" of grounds.

Hmm tempted to try it for use just under the roost area, since that's where most of the poop lands (I normally push my fine chip particles into that side of the coop, to make scooping faster). Going to TSC is a bit of a chore but it's not like we'd need bags regularly.

I have to admit if this wasn't coffee, I wouldn't even be looking lol. Coffee obsession is pretty bad when you want your chickens pooping on it!
