Good Saturday Morning...I usually have to head out to our local flea mkt to sell our homegrown produce,but FINALLY its over : )
I get my weekends back..woo hooooo!!!
So, I'm gonna spend some extra time with my chickens today, and all my animals are getting lots of Mommy time today...

Oh, and a lovely morning it is, here in Missouri. I do believe we are to get near 80 degrees today. It would have been beautiful yesterday, had it not been so darn windy.

Leaves falling everywhere! We can not keep up with them!

Well, my 3 part staggered Halloween Hatch is complete, and successful. I ended up with:

Oct 29th chicks ... JG, SPPR, BCMarans, Olive eggers = 15 - 1 (drowned) =14
Oct 31st chicks ... Lavender Orps = 15
Nov 5th chicks ... Heritage Delawares = 13

Good Saturday morning!
Sun is shining, but it is cold- it got down to 28 last night. Brrrr!!! I am so not ready for winter this year. After coffee off to soccer. A game at 8:30 at this time of year is brutal. Then we have another game at 9:45, that's not as bad but still cold. I don't mind being out in the cold when I am moving around, but when you are sitting watching a game you just freeze. Well at least this is the last weekend of soccer. Then basketball starts next week, but at least that is inside and you don't freeze. Have good morning everyone, hope everyone is doing well.

Hello coffee mates. It has been awhile since I've checked in.

I've been quite overwhelmed and doing some late nights at work.
Which in turn throws the household routine out of whack and impedes upon MY time.
Then my good friend has twins who caught H1N1, and the boy has become gravely ill.
I am going to the hospital to drop off care packages to them today, although no one
can get in to see him. He has been placed on a ventilator, and isn't doing well.
He's 13 and his name is Joe. If you have room in your thoughts/prayers, please think of him.
I'm guzzling caffeine, moving toward the shower to begin this busy day.

I am so sorry to hear of your friend's sick child. That is just awful. My prayers for their family.

I know your area well. My parents and their families originated there, and actually helped to settle the land, "in the beginning!" Did you attend the Covered Bridge Festival? I was suppose to, for a family reunion, but didn't make it.

Good Morning! Best wishes and hugs for all you sick people; hope you are well soon. Slept in until 6:30 a today; that was nice. The asthma meds are catching up and kicking in. DH is home and perky too. Made big skillet of potatoes with onions and peppers - and didn't wash my hands well enough after chopping peppers the second time for the crockpot and ran around the house "thhhhbbbt! ma thhung! ma lipthhs!" while DH laughed. (turn about is fair play).
Sun is burning off the frost; we'll be out in the garden today unless someone starts burning again; the fall back plan is to throw stuff in the car and take off for the mountains. either way, today I win!

Good morning all , well it has been busy here and rather cold.
I was up but not able to say goodmorning at the proper time.
so what ever your having now enjoy Iam having my second cup of my Dd coffee
(dunkin donuts ) I made sure this week I have enough on hand.to brew,
this cold weather is making me wanting to stay warm and cozy.
I did feed and chat a bit with my chx family.early this morning.
and I am getting excited waiting for my Orps to hatch I hope they will jump Nov.13-14 ?
out to greet me. Sending prayers for little Joe and My DH
they may have comfort.
