1st day of School has arrived.

My children are sooooo excited. Me too !

I am taking them to school today. I have to take my car to the repair shop first. It will be a hectic day.
We are missing some school / lunch supplies too. I will need to pick those up after I drop them off.
By 11:00 it will all be done.

Today is an Early release day, so the children will be back home by 1:00. That works out pretty good!

Morning People

Last pot of the "India" coffee is here. Oatmeal for breakfast........

Weather: mid 70's and more rain. We haven't had a soaking like this since last year. It is really nice, a slow steady rain, the ground is soaking it up.

math ace: 70's are still to hot for me. The better half is under a quilt and I was in shorts with the fan. I like it in the upper 50's to low 60's. I don't know how you do it.

2 more weeks till vacation. We are thinking on harassing the little rat for a day. We'll be a hour from her. Maybe you know, trash her place. Do our laundary(sp), shower, eat eveything in the kitchen, like when she comes to visit. How does this sound?

Helping grand mother in law, shop/office.

Enjoy you day

Kaj

Well The kids were round for Sunday dinner and it was lovely to see our little cherub. Today we had a bit of peace! First day to ourselves in ages. So we went for coffee and I sat for a longtime and read this afternoon. Trouble is Dd just phoned to tell us she wants the two Dogs back today so we have to sort that now! then tomorrow I have to take them to town to register the baby.

Your Schools seem to go back really early? Our kids here don;t go back until begining of September but I guess they have been off since second week in June. I was glad to get Danny back to the Adult centre and he was only off for 2 weeks. Yeah I was doing cartwheels when the bus came to get him!

I am still fighting the awful tiredness I have been getting as a result of staying awake for a few nights waiting for Jessica - so I am trying to rest up a bit. It is nice just to get the peace to potter in the garden and see what has grown or died due to neglect over the past week! I guess it will be good to get the dogs sorted out and back home too. Though I am not happy with their Dog Kripto - yeah they called it that ! Its a Staffy and I don;t like it round the baby but hay I am only a parent what do I know? It is a friendly thing not aggressive at all but it is soooo boustrous and overpowering and would knock any kid up to the age of well 25yrs flying! So I am not that happy really - then the little Jack a doodle dog Toby sheds something rotten but he is old now and just lays in his basket much of the time. He is also crippled and fat unfortunately! He is lovely but I hate the way he sheds and it floats in the air. Told Dd to hover the dog - she thinks I am insane!

Oesdog - have a good day. - I've already drank about 10 coffees so time I got on to do something else!

Dan just came home so I am away.

Well, hubby snuck up and made coffee before me today, so it is just regular old Folgers in the cup and none of my super fancy gormett (sp?) stuff! LOL. Errr. Oh well, he's happy. LOVES Folgers. Hubby is off to buy a horse trailer and we are bringing home two lovely little horses for our two daughters to ride. I am so excited to be able to hit the trails with my kids it is unreal!

Osedog~ LOL, I don't know, but to me you are looking pretty fantastic for a grandma in those pics! Hope I age as well! Beautiful baby!

OH, and I have new chicks! They've been hatching out over the last couple of days, and they are just the cutest mutt babies EVER! Weather over here in SW Oregon has been really mild this week. And the air... is just perfect! Have a great day everyone!

Good morning chickren wranglers
We got 14 pups from the dog saturday and the kids are really excited! I'm sure they grump cannot feed all of them and 2 have died already! Ihad to sneak them out of the dog house so I could dispose of them as she kept trying to bring them back in with the rest of the litter.
Chicken coop got off to a good start. I fell from the walking plank and got my leg pretty bad on one of the joists. It was only a five foot fall , But my wife has to remind me that I'm 51 years old, and whatever so what I';m not old yet.
Oe'sdog rest up and let the kids take on the work load set back and spoil the little one as she gets older 'WE call it revenge!"
My Wonderful woman took the five year old in to kindergarten this morning "the last in a line of four I'm sure it hurts to see this one get so grown up.
God bless!
