Thanks! Just glad it's over with. Now for convincing our excellent governor

that my job is worthy of keeping in the budget next year........

Well, my BR was not looking any better when I got home from work yesterday. Then BF noticed her pooping on herself (still sitting down), and we took a long hard look at it

and decided maybe she has worms. I broke every speed limit between my house and the feed store to get some Wazine before they closed, and put it in their water. Hopefully that will do the trick. I'm upset I won't be able to collect all the eggs from now till Easter - I was going to give some to family members as Easter gifts. I sure hope she gets better - she's one of my favorites.

Karl - congrats on the calf - I use a Cannon, but honestly this is the first time I've been a bit disapointed with one of their cameras. I'll look at it later and tell you which model it is.

.....

I put my ducks outside for the day, it will be in the 80s. They are three weeks old (I think). They just stink the house up so bad!

I've got another broody on my hands - an adolecent, of course. I swear it's my job working with teen mothers - somehow it rubs off onto the chickens. It's my accidental Olive Egger, ginger. And the first broody was the accidental leghorn.... hmmm..... should I let her set or try to break her out of it? I don't even have a cage to put her in to break her out of it right now.

Well, time to get caught up on things after being at a conference all day yesterday. Have a great day, chicken keepers.

New here, just learning my way around, so I thought I'd share two of the best cups of cappuccino that I've encountered.
The third cup (upper left) is caffe d'orzo - espresso made with orzo (barley) instead of coffee beans. It has the thick rich taste of coffee, but no caffeine.

I get the Orzo in Italy, so the measurements are metric. I currently have a carton here of Nestle brand "Orzoro solubile" and it lists it as 25kcal per 7 gram serving. It also says 107kj, I don't know what that measure is.
no sugar, fat or sodium. One website I found, fatsecret.com claims it has 50 calories per serving.

Another brand I often get is Orzo Bimbo, so you can google either that or Nestle Orzoro and you might find a local distributor. However, from what I see it's way overpriced; a 7 oz carton that costs me about $1.50 in Italy sells for around $7 plus shipping in the U.S.

(of course, $7 is about what you'd pay for one "liquid candy bar" from Starbucks!). Orzo Pupo is less, but I haven't tried that brand.
