Just got off the phone talking with Michele. Always nice talking with her. I just vacuum sealed some smoked cheese and now I need to get outside a get some work done. I hope to finish painting the ex-wife's chicken coop so that project will be over with. It's starting to become almost as big a pain as she was.

Good Morning to YOU! It's mid week and I have gotten nothing done yet. hmm

other than the basic things I always do.
I think I need a building Buddy. I have 4 Bunny hutches to make 2 small chicken houses. (I want them to look like mini barns) Plus I need out to do some maintenance in my gardens!

Good Morning to everyone. Took the daughter to swimming - a bit nippy out but not to bad. Kind of refreshing. My toungue is still burned from my cappacino the other morning. Got to remember to let it cool next time...


The swim team had it's first meet last night. We lost by 4 points

My daughter is on academic probation so she couldn't dive - otherwise they probably would have won. She is an awesome diver.

It's frustrating because the teacher didn't let me know until a week before finals that she was failing math. He was a first year teacher that didn't assign much homework and she didn't get what he was teaching so she just gave up.

I talked to her about approaching the teacher and saying "I don't get it - could you explain a different way" and that it is her responsiblity to be proactive in her own education. BUT she is just a kid.

She did spend the summer going to school and changed her grade - but around here that doesn't count for sports.

Oh well - valuable lesson learned and as of September 26th she will be kicking diving booty around here.

Sorry just had to vent a little.

I will be finishing a mini coop today that is 2x4 has a gambrel roof and a drop shed on one side that is the nest box. I post pictures when finished.
