Felix, I 'took over' the kitchen 22 years ago. In my next life I am going to be a chef/own a restaurant.

There is a thing called talent and some women don't have it when it comes to cooking. Which is fine cuz they usually make up for it in other areas.

I always say my wife and I compliment each other. I'm the spicy one.

My MIL was a EXCELLENT cook. My Mom was a good cook. The Princess was an adequate cook - we didn't starve.

the Princess found that she is missing tartar powder - what that does? So she is off to town on a Sat. just before Christmas -

Cream of Tartar, a by-product of wine making is a leavening agent. Makes the cookies tender instead of like hockey pucks.

Mother taught the boys to do laundry, sew, and cook, Dad taught sis to fix plumbing and change tires etc. Said we all need to know both to succeed in life.

Just stopping in for a bit. It's been crazy here between family matters and the wood shop. I'm not much for wanting time to speed up, but I can't wait till the 1st of the year........

Que wants time to fly by, I

want to add a few extra hours. Been Crazy here I haven't even finished decorating the tree. That's it with the two grandbabies. Court is now moving towards adoption so we are praying they will be permanently ours with the new year right now they are my DD's foster children that she has had for 2 years come mid January.

Will be all over the place till after the new year. Neighbor watching my girls when we are away. my Banty went on strike, we are now getting 4 - 7 eggs a day. must be this warm then cold then warm then cold weather. I have a light to trick them into thinking it daytime.
