I know they say you are only as old as you feel, so I guess that means sometimes I am 20 and sometimes I am 90 depending on my mood that day.
The funny thing about losing my father, is I find I miss him more the older I get. He would be 77 this year, but in my heart he will always be a younger handsome 62.

Good morning every one, just finished the pot already, because my new kitten has become a demon.

He has been waking me up at 3am. If I don't get up and feed him, he bites me. I have been trying to train him with a squirt bottle. This am he got me at 2:30am. Needless to say coffee was on early,

now it is all gone and I am not finished drinking coffee.
I think I will go outside and watch the sunrise. Thank the lord for another day. Let the chickens out and watch them run around and play. great way to start the morning.
The only thing missing is that hot home made bread, or some of the goodies from the bake sale would be nice.
That is a beatiful Roo on the Avatar.
I sure miss seeing the deer, however I do get to see wild burros quite often. I will still take the Boonies to live in. I sure don't miss the Malls.
Shelleyb, I miss yard sales also.
Boy that grape stomp sounds like fun.
Opa, enjoy your Mother while you can. You only have one Mother. I lost mine 3 years ago. I sure miss her.
Everyone have a super day, go with God

62 is young. If you think you are old, then you are old. Age is something we can't stop. If you let it happen and don't worry about it. It is easier and more fun. I took early retirement and I am glad I did.

I can get old in peace.

Tonopah Pati,
Sorry to hear about your mother.
Good luck with your bratty kitten. Just remember someday he will be an old lazy cat, just not soon enough for you I am sure! Enjoy the sunrise, over here it has been up for a while already.

I have several friends that I have know for years and they have become old men. Some days their most strenous endeavor to to point the remote and the televion. They say that can't believe I still work with my son, or why I've taken on the extra work that chicken require. I'm always taking on another project and look forward to each day. I tell people that I'm still trying to decide what I want to do when I grow up. Right now I am too busy to get old.

Getting my second cup now, and planning to work on pasture fence today.

My yorkie is 100% better! To look at her today, you'd never know she was having a problem a couple days ago. I'm so thankful that she's alright.

Going to a cookout this evening. Anyone else have special Labor Day weekend plans?

We had a birthday party/cookout for my 12 year old son yesterday, then went to see the town fireworks. Tomorrow going to the Spencer Fair, today work around the yard and clean up the party mess.
