Checking in form Arizona, Howdy everyone. Looks like another great day. I am still able to walk and bend over with very little pain. I think I will work on the new pen area again today. I'm trying to decide where I will put the gate. I had it all planned, then like a woman, I changed my mind. Thats the good part, not having everything set in stone. Flex, flex!
I have one more cup in the pot I will read some more posts, then get with the program.

Havn't used the crockpot in some time. Soup sure does sound good. I won't have to cook anything tonight if I do that. Thanks for the Idea.

I just got back in and put on the crockpot: lentils, onions, garlic, bay leaf, leftover brown rice from last night, peppers from the garden.

I dug some of the sweet potatoes - it is too wet and I broke the spading fork (it was wobbly anyway). What's up with all the BLACK WIDOW SPIDERS in the garden?!? The chickens, who were in the way of digging grabbing worms, grubs, bugs took one glance and the whole group just ambled to the other side of the garden. It was huge and aggressive, I got the heebee geebees! I keep finding them everywhere.
Sorry Sissy's DH is sick. Time for chicken soup with lots of garlic, ginger, hot pepper...all fresh from the garden (except the chicken - nobody eats the chickens).
Give some extra vitamins, some plain live culture yogurt, a bit of extra protein, some oatmeal...wait, that's the same advice for sick chickens!

but I have to be honest he was so sick for the past month and didint go to the doc until this week and went to work yesterday. came home and felt like do-de -do

and it all stems from Sinas infection.
he is not bad but you never know. things could change..

thats when the Kahlua comes out.

Good morning! I've been up for a while, just finishing my second cup. Now it's off to accomplish something today - first, let out the chickens. Saturdays when I am home they can get out of their pen - I love to see them scratching around. I have lots of bulbs to plant, too - I got a little carried away in July when I ordered them and the days were warm and long. I have more than a thousand to get into the ground.

Boy does that soup sound good. I was going to make some, when my son came over and offered to treat me to lunch. I sure did take him up on that. We had Mexican food.

It was so good. I sure didn't need any Supper. I ate the whole thing.

Kismet, I know the feeling on ordering bulbs. I had the bulb fever for a while.

Sissy - I think I'm getting your sinus infection! Uhg! My head is on the floor. Took meds but they haven't kicked in yet. My doctor warned me not to let a sinus infection go for more than a week or it could become chronic. I've been at the doc's office so many times in the last couple of years I couldn't count them all. Even with all the bills I still feel we have a good health system. I've never had trouble seeing a doctor quickly when I needed one. Well, this coffee sure is good. Maybe coffee is the cure-all I need!
