Yikes, Karl, that's awful. Keep warm while waiting! I find a freshly baked potato tucked in a coat pocket makes a nice hand warmer for about an hour. Sorry for your losses.

Good morning chicken wranglers
pardon my abscence but I was indissposed. I have not seen my preditor nemisis but I have been able to lock the chickens up every night since the losses.
I am thankful for the well wishes you guys sent. My week is consumed by deer hunting I have the fever bad wish me luck!

We had a wonderful elk roast the other night. The next night we made elk soup with left over meat. Too die for.

Thanks to my XDH for the meat and my DS's special lady cooking, We had a feast. Oh, I almost forgot, Corn Bread. To round it out. Key lime pie.

I'm still drinking coffee and not even dressed. I am listing to Janis Joplin on a blues station hosted by BB King. super station. Love this music.
