Coffee is good. Leg is on the mend, thanks sissy.Tonopah I will be praying regularly as will all of our clutch here at the BYC.
Lost 3 pullets to coons in 3 days. Hunting at dusk tonight 00 buckshot,
They are taking the older pullets that can't fly and they killed one before 8:30 last night so tonight I am riding the roof of the coop.shot gun in hand.God bless!

Good morning from sunny Arizona. It is to reach 114 degrees today. Whew! Coffee is great and gave me a kick start to get outside and feed and water my Chicks and chickens.
Just thought I would drop in and have a cup with you all. You all sure gave me a warm welcome and prayers. Thank You.

Well, it's not quite noon yet, so it's still a Good Morning to you all!
Querecus, that made me laugh. Sounds like something my Dad would have done to us back in high school. I managed to get my son out of bed and dressed on time, then just as we tried to get out the door he wet himself. So I was five minutes late for school on the first day of students coming back. At least I don't have a class or anything in the morning, so I doubt anyone noticed.

Oesdog - I can't imagine having that may little ones at once. It's no wonder you were thrilled to have them out of the house. Mine is my one and only, and most likely it will stay that way due to being thrown quite a curve ball shortly after he was born. But that's okay. I figure I just need the one perfect one, and it is at least easier. I just have to guard against him being spoiled rotten. It's amazing how much more work it is when BF's two girls are at my house for the weekend.

Be careful back on that roof, Karl!! And happy hunting.

Keep up the fight, Tonopah. I've seen first hand how tough it is, and you're in my prayers.

Chics in the sun - I kind of cheated I had Twins! They all came at once but I worked it out in the end !!!! It was very hard work and very tiring but I wouldn;t have changed that for the world. They are great kids but sadly they don;t actually really leave home when they are 18 guys! They keep coming back again. Dh is all goo goo eyed over Jessica today . He keeps looking at me funny so I will have to go put my granny passion killers on! -

I did tell you I am the glamerous one unlike Rancher who is the old guy! -

I have been trying to get caught up cleaning all the coops it
sure was a good day to do as much as I could and thats what I did
hired a handy man to help me with the heavy lifting.
but he must have lost his way..

...He never showed up.
and I pay an honest wage for an honest days work
but some dont even like the word W>O>R>K.

Morning People,

Weather: mid 70's chance of showers: a mean down pour last night.

Looks like it is going to be a quiet day. A nice trip to the mill for some butternut and maple.

Our girls (2) are close to 5years apart. It wasn't planned that way, just the way it happened. It made it nice tho, when it came to paying for college. The worst part is now I consider myself having 6 mom's ( wife, 2 daughters, sister, doctor, natural mother). For some reason they want to keep this carcass around.
