Coke, Pepsi, what's the difference?

Coke has spicy cinamon overtones. Pepsi has a scent/taste like lemon bathroom cleaner. I prefer coke. At work we have switched from a coke to a pepsi campus. I tend to drink the dew.

All that being said, my husband mostly drink raspberry flavored seltzer water.

This is exactly me! Reg Pepsi is way too sweet. Diet Coke tastes like nasty tasting flavored water... :gag​

I am a fiend for Diet Pepsi. Coke to me is almost like drinking maple syrup - it's so sweet. However, I do like it as a mixer. Alcohol really cuts the sweet!

Just to add to the mix ~~ other things effect the taste of coke & pepsi. While the 'basic formula' is the same, depending on where it's processed, the water is a bit different, they may use more water in the liters over the cans, and they may add less or more cane sugar/corn syrup depending on region.

Anyway, pepsi tastes very good when you add scotch (IMHO).

Diet Coke is my coffee! I hate Diet Pepsi. But if there is no Diet Coke, I will drink that too. I always grimace before I drink it, but I don't turn it down!

Hey, speaking of Pepsi and formula changes, etc.... what is the deal with the (limited time only) "Pepsi Throwback" that is being touted as being made with "natural sugar"... natural sugar = throwback? Is that because the Pepsi we grew up with didn't have high fructose corn syrup as a sweetener?
