Cold eggs

How long can an egg be outside in freezing weather before it is no longer hatchable? My blue copper marans are laying but I don't get home unty il late in the evening to gather them.

It depends on how cold. Freezing weather below 32F-About as long as it takes water to freeze, or a bit less. Probably just minutes.
