Cold eggs

You certainly can. Nothing to stop you. Some might even hatch.

You can read this to see what results Aart got with eggs collected in cold weather. Last February I hatched 23 out of 28 that I collected the first few days of February, some with a high around freezing that day. Some days I collected them 3 or 4 times a day but some days that was only at the end of the day.

People like to think that it is all or nothing with hatching eggs, but that is not the way it works. The closer to ideal conditions the better your odds, but eggs can be pretty tough when it comes to hatching. If they freeze your odds are not good, but as long as they don’t freeze, you have a chance.
