Cold feet! Only you guys would understand this

Our girls are spoiled & sensitive too. Crazy K Farms makes a real chicken shoe made out of neoprene (think slightly squishy wet suit material) You can not have them on in the summer because the opposite will happen & they'll over heat, but these shoes are awesome! We had a girl who had chronic issues with her feet & these shoes gave her a new lease on life. This sounds crazy, but all kidding aside, the other hens were sooooo jealous of those shoes!

OK so I think I've seen it all now. My husband would poop bricks if I bought a pair of chicken booties. I already get picked on because I made one of my chickens an apron because she lost the feathers off her back and its cold out.

It wasnt too hard to put them on her. We trimmed them down so her toes were exposed & she could still scratch. She walked really funny the first hour or so & would peck at them, but she got used to them really quick & would stand up tall like she was showing off. We'd have to take them off on really hot days & you could tell it bummed her out. I wish I'd know they had prints ... That would have been hysterical!
