I'm in the same boat with my 8-month old girls. My understanding is that we should enjoy this, because it's a one-year-only offer, the pullet year. I have plans to freeze eggs next spring/summer when egg production is high, because I'm fully expecting NO eggs next fall when they molt, and FEW eggs next winter. That is...unless I can convince DH that we MUST have new pullets next fall. Hmmmm.....
