What a bunch of late bloomers.
Three are hatched as of 8am.
I have three more that have pipped!

Congrats on the hatch.

I put 31 eggs in the bator the 19th too. Nothing happened over the weekend, then Monday morning 7 hatched. 6 more by dinner and one just as i was going to bed. This morning 2 more (but they look poorly) and couple more zipping.

Last night, I moved 4 of them to the brooder and they are doing wonderful.
I still have 4 in the incubator. Two are running around but still wet.
The other two are laying down & the eyes are still closed. These two didn't absorb all the yoke.

When I get home I will move the fluffy ones to the brooder. This hatched turned out pretty well I think.
Will post a brooder picture tonight.

So how many did you end up with? We got 21 little cuties. They are causing trouble now LOL

7 as of this weekend.
We fed the weakling to our friend's Ball Python on Saturday.
So now, I have 6 healthy happy quail!
I put wood shavings in the brooder now. Wow they are messy eaters!

Glad all went well. I've put wood shaving in the brooder now too. lasted a bit longer with my first 4, but these guys make so much mess, they were getting it all stuck to their feet. I'm waiting on the weather a little to put the older four outside, and then I can split the 21 into two brooders, which will help with the poop issue. I weighed them today as they are 1 week old. Boy have they grown. All 21 ranged from 7g -12g and now the smallest is a white 18g and the biggest is a brown at 42g!! I got a mixed batch so there are some jumbos as well as regular browns, Whites and 3 tibetans. Hope the little guy can keep up with the rest.

That's great! I have 2 babies that are way bigger than the rest.
I think they might have come out of the bigger eggs.

I put the waterier on top of a metal pie plate to keep stuff dry.
