Collecting Pictures of 2 week old peachicks, Come post yours!

ok, so i just looked at another post and the yellow chicks were black shouldered.... so maybe thats what they are.... anyone know?
 
well i hope with us writing back n forth the others see it and come back and update so you'll know. i got the eggs from a guy that just got eggs incubated them and sold the chicks. the one does seem to have more white than any other photos i've seen of chicks. can't wait to see them grow up. I'll up date next week with picts on sunday and i will up date in sept. when they're 4 months old. at that time im getting two more that are def one boy and one girl.

Oh no, I'm quite sure they aren't blackshoulders. With blackshoulders, you can see the faintest tan on their flight feathers- yours have white white white flight feathers.

If you want to know what gender the whites are, instead of waiting a couple years, you can always DNA sex them:

Heres a pic of my first two home hatched Opal B/S peachicks,,the Dynamic Duo,,Mutt and Jeff,Bacon and Eggs,,Salt and Pepper,,Jack and Coke,Taters and Unyuns ,,they do everything together and if I get one,the other is jealous and lets me know I forgot about it too.They hatched May 20 th

You can actually see in the pic from frenchblackcopper the slight tan colour on the wing flights - even though they are opal bs, they still show colouring on the flights of the wings! I should really figure out how to post pics, I've been keeping an inventory on all the chicks I've hatched this year, oddly enough, at two weeks. However, I am also doing a lot of work with sex-linked colours, and its nice and easy to tell the sex on those offspring with the pairings I've been doing.

Oh I am, trust me! Been digging holes and getting lumber all weekend. :) I think I might already be a pea addict...
