I agree that UC Davis is a GREAT school! However, with that said, when it comes to Bachelor's degrees, usually it doesn't matter which school you attend. Graduate school (Master's and Ph.D.) is when it is more critical. If there is a school near in your state where you can pay in-state tuition, that is more beneficial than attending a school with a better reputation (and higher tuition).
