Collingwood's amazingly amazing chat thread!

Well, the tree frog is a look only pet. I buy him crickets, but on one of the nicer day we had. There were lots of flies on the deck rail, basking in the sun. So I started catching some for him. The little thing was snapped his tongue everywhere. When he wasn't using his tongue, he'd jump with his mouth open and catch them mid air. When he had enough, which basically all of them. He'd go back down and burrow in the dirt again to sleep. I'll have to get a picture of him.

@collingwood well not every pet is meant for every person!

@NickyKnack That's really cool & pictures would be great!

Praying mantis makes great pets too. I just love their personalities. It's hard to think a bug having a personally, but they do.

Yeah, I had one that lived on a house plant and would take live bugs from tweezers. Once a day, I'd mist her with a plant mister. Then she'd clean the water off herself. Bad thing is they rarely live longer then 8 mouths. But you can always catch another one. :D
