I've been doing a bit of reading on Colloidal Silver and its uses in chicken diseases/infections, including Marek's disease. It sounds like a great substance to have around, as long as it isn't overused. But I have a few questions that I'm hoping can be answered:
1. What is the best concentration to us? I've seen 10pp/m, 30pp/m, and even 500pp/m.
2. What would be the best dosage for use on a small bantam (Dutch Bantam sized)? I know there haven't really been any studies on it, but what does everyone else use?
3. Has anyone observed any harmful side effects on their chickens, and if so, after how much use?
4. Does it actually work as well as it is said to? I'd be interested in using it on birds with Marek's disease or other illnesses.
Thanks to anyone who responds!
