Definitely breed her. I’ll buy her actually if you’re interested and nearby.

Thank you for this information. I'm not quite sure what gypsy-face means, apart from the darker skin/face. Is it common? Does it just pop up now and again (like my 5-toed cochin)?Ok found somthing from this site, it's called "gypsy face trait" for example:View attachment 1889785this silver laced sebright has grey/black coloring on it's face features.
i mean that what your chicken has is most likely gypsy face trait"
I'm pretty sure it's a gene that the parents both carry and when they have chicks 1 or none might get that gene. It well not go away since it is a gene but it well not hurt the chicken.Thank you for this information. I'm not quite sure what gypsy-face means, apart from the darker skin/face. Is it common? Thank you for the offer and interest. I'm not quite sure what I'm doing with her. If I did breed her, it would be later (she's still young and it'll be winter soon). Either way, she's likely to remain a valued member of the flock and family.Definitely breed her. I’ll buy her actually if you’re interested and nearby.
Thanks again! I'm rather smitten with the trait, and it's very interesting to learn about. I've never heard of it before.I'm pretty sure it's a gene that the parents both carry and when they have chicks 1 or none might get that gene.
