Could you elaborate on the homzygous I/I and the quail pattern.

Well, on dark/overmelanized lakenvelder the hens tend to get black pattern on their saddles, resembling the pattern that quail hens have on that spot.
The roosters get dark saddles (which is sort of allowed) but also black pattern on the upper breast. This should be black shafty pattern but occasionally I get single laced ones too.
The homozygous dom.white hen I got had both the saddle pattern (which should be absent, gold) and the upper breast lacing.
So in a melanized breed like the jubilee indian game I can imagine that the extra extention would cause an all white bird.

If they were black patterned the hackle would almost be gold.
