I have just hatched out what I believed (sold as) pure white Pekin/Cochin bantams, 2 of the chicks are pure light yellow but 3 have a brownish patch on the back, I know white birds are yellow when they hatch but what about this brown tint on the back? Is that normal/common and will it fade away?
