Help with color clarification of these two. I was thinking bronze at first but they seem very light colored from ones I've seen and have had years ago. I'm sure it's too early to tell gender. They are about 4 to 4-1/2 months old.

You need to take better pics without the fence between the camera and them. Tak a full side view and a full front view. The pictures need to be in focus without any obstructions between the birds and the camera.

At 4 months old they should be able to be sexed from photos which a third view from the back looking down on them with the back of the neck and top of the head included.

From theses pics and stated age, they both look like hens to me and neither is a pure Bronze.

I'll try again. They come straight to the camera so it's hard to get pictures of them which is why I tried through the fence to see if they'd back away some. When I'm in there they are right on me. They came from TSC but a mixed bin of several breeds. I was assuming hens as I haven't seen any struck at all yet. I know hens can but if there was a Tom it would have by now with thicker legs and balder head, longer snood. I was more curious on this coloring. It's odd to me. Like I said, I'll try again on taking better pictures. They are just so hard when they come up on me and won't stay back for a picture.

Put something out to attract their attention and back away or get someone else to draw their attention from you.

I'm going to try tomorrow. There's no one with me during daylight hours on week days which is harder. It almost looks like a more bronze narragansett in a way. I have other pictures where of their chest but of course a shadow of the fence is on it. They have a light brown chest chest with very light white tips to the feathering. You have to have the right lighting to see it.

Both look like Narragansett. But better pics would help.

These were the best I could get. This time they were terrified I brought my 4 year old out with me. Lol
