I
My walls finally arrived at 4 pm.  Guillermo did NOT deliver himself and told me he had delivered another shed kit first.  After his driver left, he called and asked me to remove the complaint I had filed in Paypal.  I told him I would after I had the shed together and was sure it was all correct.  He got pretty mad. I told him he had wasted a week and a half of my time waiting for my shed, and now it was his turn to wait.  I am positive I would not have walls if I had not filed the complaint.  It will remain active until I am satisfied he has delivered everything I need.  I am furious that I have now lost a week of perfect weather for building, and according to the weather forecast we are coming into a week of probably not so good weather for building.

I don't think this guy has a clue anyone else's time is important, and I would not do business with him again under any circumstances.  He lies with abandon, does not communicate until forced to, and could not care less that I cancelled plans day after day after day waiting for him because he said he was delivering a shed and then didn't, and did not call to tell me so.

My stress level is through the roof, and poor Bob is fretting over every little detail, because that's what he does, bless his heart.  Once we actually get going I think we will both feel better.  In the best of all possible worlds, we will get the floor done and walls up.  In the real world I'm fairly sure we'll get the floor done, walls might be a stretch, but a girl can hope, right?  :)

Adam, sex linked layer chicks are just about always a white hen covered by a red or black rooster, and since they are bred for hatch-day sexing, and high egg production in this case, the hen is nearly always a white leghorn or a white rock.  If the hen is a leghorn they should begin laying earlier than 6 months, and lay a large egg pretty reliably 5-6 days a week.  My unidentified red hen I refer to as a production red may very well be a sex link, she is the best layer in my flock.  I get a large or extra large egg almost every day since she started laying in July.  She has the light build of a leghorn.
would not remove your complaint, his over all service and product has made you miserable. You are doing a service to the rest of his future customers, my leaving it alone. If he was so concerned, he would have been there himself, and to make things right would have offered a reduced price or helped you put it up. Some kind of compensation. His employees work for him but he is the responsible person for his product quality.

Glad you got Guillermo's attention and he is making it right! Take a deep breath, it will all come together, just later than you wanted. Poor Bob, can understand his frustration!

Haha! I found it!! I just kept following the links under google images until I found some useful information!

"Gold Star
This bird is a cross between two very traditional breeds, the Light Sussex and Rhode Island Red. They sport beautiful black tail and neck feathers. These birds lay about 300 shop coloured brown eggs in there first year."

Wow, very nice, I never knew this was the cross used. Love the Light Sussex breed!
