Well, today I went into work because I needed the hours - had to buy tires for my car this week, big ouch, had one unrepairable, and can't just buy one, always use Michelins with the certificates from Discount, they would have replaced just the one for about $21 but since I had 60k miles on these 80k mile tires I was in a position of having to replace 2 or 4, and there was a rebate for buying 4, so I guess now I don't have to worry about buying 4 tires for another couple of years. Still hate those unanticipated large expenses.
Guillermo's framer will be here at 9 am to fix door frames. Took a bunch of pictures this afternoon in case things turn out worse. If this goes well it will be a first for this project, I figure we are about due, so maintaining optimism. Once he leaves we have to go buy some additional lumber then get to work on subfacia, then we should be ready to sheet the roof. If the weekend goes REALLY well we will have it all sheeted by the end of Sunday, and maybe even papered and shingled. Then doors in and the other window. Then paint the floor, insulate, interior walls. If we can get all that done in the next week I can move the chicks up to the shed. If not I have to come up with another creative way to house them under the house, because they are growing fast and will need more room very shortly, so I'll be brainstorming that while we work this weekend. I'll get it figured out, but my main goal is to get as far as we possibly can over a warm weekend, and really hoping we can get her dried in by end of Sunday at the latest. Fingers crossed.
