I haven't seen that one before, which is really surprising because I just did a whole bunch of research and never saw it. Where'd you find it?

What an awesome day so far. I get woke up (ok not so awesome there) by a call from Kiowa telling me my newest babies were in. Woohoo! So I get up and let everyone out of their coops and I didn't get attacked by the geese today. They've been getting mean since they now understand that I'm there to steal their eggs. The drive out to Kiowa was beautiful and the roads were plowed. I got the 4 black sex links I'm raising for a lady, and they had buttercups and blue andalusians available, so of course I had to get some. Then while I was settling the new babies at home, my incubator arrived! Woohooo!!

I can't wait to set this thing up and get my goose eggs started. I need to get a secondary thermometer/hygrometer, any recommendations?

I only need a couples girls. How much and what breeds do you have?

I replied in the PM thread, but just in case others are also interested:

They came as a mix and I can narrow down all of them to one or two possibilities, but there are only a few I know for certain. I know I have cochins, and brahmas. I think I have dutch, belgian d'anvers, EE, and leghorns. They're about six weeks old and for the most part all of the boys have made themselves known. Right now, I'll be asking for $6 each.

one of my daughters decided to bring the chicks upstairs and put a few on me. The chicks promply found me and the internet to be quite boring and fell asleep on my arm. Here is a pic from the web cam on my computer.

I just called the guy with the bator. He's still on for tomorrow morning... I'm really excited!

I was hoping to see a pip today when I got home from work but none :(. Today is day 20, or it will be at 9:23 pm so I know it's still early.. I was just hoping! I'm not cut out for this whole "patience" thing.
