You live in an apartment? That might be tricky with chickens. Are you planning on moving to a place with a yard? I thought I saw that you only got one? I have read that might be problematic and that chickens really need to be in at least a pair.
 
Looking for one buff or splash silkie, one Mille Fleur D'Uccles, and one other bantam. All female pet quality chicks (or straight runs with a guarantee)! We live up in Fort Collins. Any info would be GREAT! Thank you so much!!!!

You might check with the Longmont murdoch`s. They've carried some of those, and they have them come in again this season.

Yup plan on moving when. She is old enough to go in the coop...uh I did not have enough money on me.. got her a d chicken starter...

The craigslist ad in Beulah has me fighting the impulse to buy a few - dh would literally strangle me, lol.

Another question - How does Sand do in CO, in the coop and run? Specifically with the high winds in Pueblo West....
