Colorado

I'm finally getting somewhere in my coop construction! AHHH! My poor babies are still in the garage with a little bit of time in the yard.

Question though: Will it be ok leaving the floor just as plywood and not putting anything overtop? Here's pics of the progress...and some of the girls.

Do you mean litter? Or paint or varnish? Looking good!!!

Yes, they are grass fed but we do finish them on alfalfa hay, that we grow, apples, squash & pumpkins.
We
Probably eat more beef than we should. I also process my extra Roos, can I say that here? (Ducking and running.)

I'll touch base with you later this year, I would like to put some grass fed (alfalfa and the rest you feed are fine, I am trying to stay away from grain finished is all) beef in the freezer at some point this year, but it's only the two of us so it isn't as if I could really make use of probably even a quarter. I have a friend at work who might be interested in splitting one with me though.

Oh - and no need to duck and run. I'm hoping Wendell does another group processing party this year - I have yet to do one and need to learn, and I will almost certainly have extra males this year.

I know the republic of Boulder all to well. Hopefully the house we used to rent on 57th and Jay has been razed by now.
