Grats Uzi! Those look great! There is one that's real dark and I can't actually see veining; nausicaq 4? What do you think the status is with that one? Maybe just a much thicker/darker shell? Just curious, but you named all of them (hen source?). How did you know which egg came from which bird? Also, just curious what you're using for a light source... it does an excellent job of lighting up the interior of the eggs!
On another note, what a marvelous morning it is outside! Sun shining, blue skies, no wind (here anyway), and feeling much warmer than it actually is temp wise
I think my birds feel the difference as well as they seem happier and more "chipper" this morning. This afternoon I'm heading up to the mountains to visit a mineral hot springs for a good long soak! after the past week, I deserve it! Even started out the day with a few fresh (warm) eggs
I'm sure the guy buying them to hatch them will benefit.
I am a bit aggravated by one group however as they successfully cut a slice in their water bucket (second time, same group, same cut right above nipple level) causing stalagmites of water/bedding/poo under the bucket location
So directly, I'm off to TSC to purchase additional (replacement/backup) buckets to make a 3rd water bucket for them! Grrrrr
Considered just letting them be thirsty, but can't make the whole group suffer for the one culprit... If I caught it in the act, I'd wring its neck.
