Nice, start them early. We have a 1/2 Anatolian and unknown breed. He is very potectibe of me and the property. Wasnt raised with flock animals so no way do I trust him with ours.
The ccl returned last night after a neighbor texted my bf that it was 2 houses down. We then had to chase the stupid thing around the block 2x.
Such cuties!!!!!Anyone wanting to see pics of our chicks, here is a link. I did take the time to take a picture of each chick.

Cute pup!!!!!
Quote: Hmmm, so glad I did not go with the CCL's, have heard lots of negative things about them, laying issues, inbreeding issues, etc. Love my Barnies, such sweeties, my rooster loves any and all new chicks introduced to the flock.
I know you said 3 blue eggs hatched but he looks like a GLW x. I don't know where else he could of gotten the lacing from. He could be an interesting project. They are all good looking. Buffy's daddy is an araucana.I hope find your chick is safe and sound DK. Here are some pictures of some young birds I hatched from PC's eggs. These two are identical, as far as I can tell. Their legs are dark, dark slate colored.I think this is a brahma X rumpless americauna. I think she looks like a Clydesdale. Isn't she cool?
Here is the brahma X again with the rooster. It's strange his legs are so white and his sisters are so dark. If anyone wants a rooster let me know. I think he will be handsome and have some really nice genes.
