I dont really know for sure when they were born, but I'd say the Cochin is only a few days older than the Sussex. But they're both between two to two and a half weeks old. The Cochin just seems so desperate for the Sussex I think she's scaring her. She just seems to want to cuddle her but the Sussex freaks out a bit and pecks at her to back off. Honestly we've only had the Sussex since 10 am this morning haha so I should probably just give them a minute to adjust. I just want everyone to get along and thought everyone was on board haha

Yes I think it is a bit early to think things are a fail on the integration. I would give it some time and only intervene if the pecking is likely to cause injury.
I brought in a BA that was 4 weeks old with 2 day old chicks. They had been in the brooder together where I got them and she never pecked at them that I saw. She did have a peck at each and every one of the Brahma that are 2 weeks younger than her. ( Earned the name Bossy Betty) It was not a serious "I wanna kill you" peck only a "Give me space" peck. After 24 hours they were fine and have been fine since.

Echo what everyone else has offered for advice, but would expand on what one person said... you should actually buy several candidate companions... just in case something should happen to another (it does happen as you found out) and also it eliminates the one-on-one competition/pecking. And as an aside, they really are flock animals and do better in a group than as ones and twos... Justsayin' good luck w/the integration!
