I have an inch of snow on my back deck right now (Northern Col. Springs). And it's still snowing. This will make hiding Easter Eggs interesting for whoever hasn't held their hunt yet...
What kills me about this is that I was out enjoying the sun two days ago and actually got a sunburn.
Typical for us. we don't have quite an inch and I can't tell if it's snowing or not. I sure hope we get some rain though. More than just a sprinkle. A light drizzle for 2 or 3 days would green things up nicely. We hide our eggs inside the house.
Well we haven't had much snow all winter, but got about 3 inches during the day yesterday and now there must be another 4 or 5 from overnight and it is still snowing here. We are under a winter storm warning this morning. Happy Easter from 8500 feet in the heart of the Rockies. My chickens won't like this at all, but the turkeys don't seem to mind and we sure do need the moisture.
Those goats are just too precious! I was driving thru Brighton Friday night and saw goats in someone's front yard. I thought - maybe I need to move to Brighton!
But anyway, here's what I was in Brighton picking up - found it on CL. I'm converting it to a brooder. It's a 48" bath vanity. I'm going to pop out the inserts in the doors and replace with see-thru plexiglass or lexan, and add a hinged lid.
