As rehoming seems to be a topic of the day today...

I have been waffling on what to do with Freckles, my one year old Speckled Sussex, but have finally decided she needs a new home. She is a good layer but she has become a bully. My little Hamburg is doing better now overall but her tail is starting to look absolutly ragged. And on the occasions when I carry my son with me to let them out of the coop in the morning Freckles makes me nervious. She has tried to bite his feet on a number of occasions. She's never caught more than the edge of his footie pajamas but still. I just don't like that level of brashness. Anyone want a new hen?

A little help! Can I get a 2nd opinion I'm trying to figure out if my Austra White is a roo or not. One poster said he/she was. The reason I ask is I would like a roo and if he/she isn't I could possibly be in the market for one. Thanks for any help.

I am not a roo expert, so I hope someone else in the forum jumps in with a second opinion for you.
If he/she is not a roo, I would happily drive my Americauna roo up to you!!! I am really wanting to find

It's not as hot as it was, but it's still hot. I saw these misters at ACE today and thought they might be good for cooling a flock. They are about 3' high and $12.
